Ice skating in Vancouver

We had a day free in Vancouver so we went ice skating.

Here is a snow man we found in Vancouver.

It was a long walk to the ferry, and then we went to Subway for lunch.

On the way to the ferry we found this grizzly bear.

Then we went to hire some ice skates.

We put them on and got skating. There were some red things that we pushed round the rink.

This red block helped me to balance around the rink.

After skating we got a shirley temple to drink. Then we caught the ferry back to the other side of the harbour.

After that we caught a taxi back to our hotel. We had yummy cheese pasta for dinner.

Ice skating looks like such fun …… great idea to have the red balance blocks for learning. Lots of firsts including the Shirley Temple. Wow! Love Gran ♥️
