Skiing on Mount Timothy

We woke up very early and packed all our ski gear into the truck. The roads were very snowy so Dad put the F-150 into 4w4.

This is where we bought the tickets to the ski runs.

About an hour later we arrived. The mountain was huge with heaps of big ski runs, so we strapped on our skis and cranked. We had to start on the magic carpet which was the kids hill.

This is me at the start of my first ski run. It was called Big Easy.

An hour later I thought I was good enough, so I hit a big run. I had to take a chair lift, some bits of the chair lift were 10-12 metres high. At the top we began. The first bit was very steep. The second bit of the big run was not very steep, it just had a big turn.

At 3:30 the ski field closed and we drove home.
